On-site reading
In the reading rooms (for monographs and periodicals), users can consult any work on the shelves and are given free access to the documentation. They may also use other types of materials, such as personal computers, provided that they do not disturb the normal functioning of these spaces.
Home loan
Home loan refers to the loan of documents for consultation in spaces not belonging to the Library, available to users with a U.Porto card. Most books can be requested for home reading in accordance with the regulations. Users should go to the service desk to request this service.
Interlibrary loan
This involves the provision of documents requested by other libraries, as well as those not found in our bibliographic collection, by using other national and foreign libraries and documentation centers.
